PAVONE ROSSA is a Greek company that produces handcrafted and luxury wooden & more eyewear. The company was founded in 2018 and since 2021 it maintains its own showroom in the area of Chalandri.
The Founder and Creative Director of PAVONE ROSSA, Marilena Michou, is characterized by her studies as a Mechanical Engineer at the Technical University, her innate love for woodworking that she inherited from her father and her adoration for fashion and the arts ever since she was a child. These were the determining factors that pushed her to create the handcrafted and luxury eyewear company, PAVONE ROSSA. Her everyday inspiration in creating and producing unique and innovative designs stems from nature, traveling and experiencing different cultures, as well as the modern urban style and way of life. Every season, our Creative Director, Marilena Michou, designs with a lot of passion and love exquisite and modern wooden art pieces that stand out in the Greek fashion industry and all around the world.
Our unique and handcrafted eyewear is made from high quality and environment friendly materials. The wooden sunglasses are produced from ethically sourced timber, mainly from walnut, that is resilient and able to accompany you to your everyday life for many years. Our acetate glasses are crafted from the highest quality and recycled pastes, but also wooden elements that are durable and suitable for every occasion.
Even exceptional is the consistency of our lenses, as each piece has been coated with extra UV400, anti-scratching, hydrophobic and oleophobic coating. The cooperating lens firms are the internationally operating Japanese HOYA VISION, and the Greek UNILENS Group. Both meet these criteria and have guarantees for their unparalleled efficiency.
We also provide lenses and services for eyewear, not only for medical prescriptions, but also for ‘Blue Light Control’ protection, which refers to the ‘blue’ light that all screens emit.
